Yes - Emilio Azoy has a DUI and yes he is on the domestic violence registry. The family story is that one of his best friends was busted for either child porn or molesting and that this guy was around and maybe even staying with him while he had joint custody and visitation with Giselle.

Here is a link to just one of the perspectives I have on Giselle, her mother and her father Emilio Azoy who texted in October of 2021, that Giselle was "...dead to him..." I never showed her the text and continued to tell her that if she would just get 90 days sober, I could go to her father with that news and that I was certain that he would want to see her. I still recall, and have photos of a dark raining Sunday afternoon in late January where wearing a long dark wool coat and left hand twitching from the methamphetamines, she disappeared into the Wendy's on Calle Ocho and 67th Ave. I say it is just one of the perspectives, because in 2021 I met with and listened to her fathers perspective, her brothers, her friends from earlier in life and her associates on 79th St and Biscayne. But most of all, I listened to Giselle as I did in July 2021 when flew to Dallas to pick her up from a Psychiatric unit. My last conversation with the police was with the officer in the video who I screamed at after she referred to it as "her" investigation. The officer was something like 25 years old and over two years later we (Giselle's mother and I have never been advised of the return of the DNA report. At an AA meeting in Broward County a year ago, I met a young woman who spent time in Miami Dade jail awaiting a drug charge who mentioned that there was lots of talk in the women's wing of other young women who were being strangled. My belief and that of Dr Lopez is that her killer knew her and that the asphyxiation was probably part of a sexual encounter and that the death was not intentionally caused. Giselle nor anyone we knew her to associate with had any connection to the area of 23900 Block of SW 124th. Yes, through social media she could have encountered anyone, and for drugs, she would go anywhere. But Giselle always had access to men and drugs on 79th and Biscayne or Calle Ocho. About a week ago, Giselle's mother was cleaning out a desk and came across a psychiatric evaluation of Giselle that was taken while she had a period of sobriety following a lengthy period of drug use (primarily cocaine). Giselle IQ had dropped 30 points. She also suffered from psychotic episodes and in one of them attempted to hire another drug user to kill her mother. Giselle also loved her mother and whenever Giselle called me, the first thing she would ask is, "How are you and mom doing?" I have photos and lengthy videos of Giselle I took during my time with her, discussing her life and relationships. I like to think that Giselle's life has a purpose, as do all lives. Her mother is looking for that purpose and in particular to help women like Giselle, who are substance addicted, mentally ill, and on the street suffering all of the physical and sexual abuse that Giselle suffered. I would ask you, if you comment here to consider that there are multiple perspectives on Giselle and that it is therapeutic to share your perspective and listen to others, but to be charitable to all rather than condemning of parents, family, friends and others who tried to help. In particular I would ask you to be charitable to Giselle's mother in whose living room is an alabaster box with Giselle's ashes. Ultimately Giselle and many others like her reject help and are in turn rejected. I was with her until the end, as was her mother. The rest of the family could not bear Giselle's tragedy and walked away long before the end. If you need help like Giselle or want to better understand lessons Giselle's mother can share with anyone with such an addiction and mental disorders or their friends or family, her perspective. Never understood the application of the word "Civilian" to the public. Being from an LE and background I definitely know that LE is NOT military, they are also civilian. Too much copy catting going on, trying to act as military when they are not.
